Eoghan Rua proudly supports, five different games from the family of Gaelic Games. These are Hurling, Gaelic football, Handball, Camogie and Ladies Football. We also have a lot of other activities for children and events for members throughout the year.
At Eoghan Rua, we proudly honour our past while passionately building for the future—a future shaped by inclusion, community, and a shared love for sport. Rooted in the values of enjoyment, respect, identity, pride, and passion, our club is more than just a place to play; it’s a place to belong. Whether you’re a player, a parent, or a child just starting out, Eoghan Rua ensures that no member is ever left behind. We are committed to engaging every child, nurturing their development, and creating a positive sporting experience where they feel encouraged, supported, and inspired. Join us, and be part of a thriving club where everyone has the chance to play, succeed, belong—and most importantly, enjoy.
Joining Eoghan Rua Coleraine is simple. Just pop along to one of our training sessions and talk with the lead coach. At junior levels we are more than happy for your children to join in and see if they enjoy the experience and if so you can simple join by becoming a member through Klubfunder and then have you/your child join training on the given training days.

- Tips
- Don’t worry if you’re new to these sports or if you or your child are not very experienced — our club loves helping beginners.
- Most underage teams are managed by volunteer coaches, often parents or past players and are easily approachable.
- The club also has a Fundamentals programme for very young kids which takes place on Saturday mornings.
